Hello Naama,
The distributor you contacted in Israel is a commercial distributor and the commercial warranty is a one year warranty. At this time we do not have a household distributer in Israel. The machine would need to purchased direct from Vita-Mix headquarters and shipped to Israel. Our international household machines have a 5 year warranty. Here is a link that will explain the warranty:

The cost of a 220volt Vita-Mix 5000 machine is $609.00 plus shipping and handling. This includes one 64oz container with the wet blade, two cookbooks and instructional DVD. The dry blade container is used to grind whole grains, beans, and legumes into flour plus mix and knead bread dough. These prices do not include duty or taxes that may be added on when delivered.
